HumiSeal has released a new UV80LED PCB varnish specially designed to provide high-quality protection for electronic components. This UV-curable urethane acrylate coating has been developed to be low-viscosity, making it an ideal choice for selective coating. The viscosity is perfect for a film coater valve, which requires a low viscosity.
The UV80LED coating cures quickly with energy-saving LED UV light and offers excellent moisture and chemical resistance. UV80LED is also a popular coating for circuit board repair because it can be cured with a flashlight-sized LED UV lamp. Thus, it can be repaired locally and cured immediately without returning it to the coating line. This same method also allows utilizing the top properties of UV coatings in smaller volume products.
In addition, it meets several international standards, such as IPC-CC-830 and RoHS. This makes it a reliable choice for a wide range of industrial applications.
HumiSeal UV80LED coating is also designed to glow under UV light, which makes it easier to inspect the coating.
Suppose there is already approval for UV80 coating for the product. In that case, it can be changed directly to UV80LED coating because the cured coating is the same, and the drying mechanism is different. So, if you are planning to cure with LED lamps in the future and already have a traditional UV oven, you can put the UV80 into use and change it directly to the LED version without new time- and money-consuming tests.
