Knitted wire mesh
Knitted wire mesh gaskets provide a cost-effective solution for applications requiring high levels of EMC and RF shielding, as well as protection against both electric and magnetic fields. They are also suitable for EMP-protected systems.
The gasket construction is based on knitted metal wire mesh, combining excellent mechanical strength with flexibility. The mono-filament interlocking loop structure allows the gasket to conform to almost any size, shape or mating surface, making it ideal for demanding EMC shielding applications.
Available either as Solid Knitted Wire Mesh gaskets or Elastomer Cored Knitted Wire Mesh gaskets. The elastomer core improves compressibility, recovery and service life, particularly in applications where enclosures are opened and closed repeatedly.
